Postdoc position centred on symplectic singularities in geometric representation theory.
I am currently advertising for a postdoc position to work on aspects of the classification of conic symplectic singularities and applications in geometric representation theory, as part of an EPSRC standard grant with Alastair Craw and Travis Schedler. The position is for up to 3 years, beginning September-October 2026 (subject to negotiation). Applicants will be expected to have expertise in either geometric representation theory, symplectic singularities or in aspects of algebraic geometry related to resolutions of singularities. There are no formal teaching duties, although participating in teaching is possible if desired.
